Apple for the Classroom - Parents can fulfill teachers' wishes all year long by choosing an item to bring into the classroom, or donating via PayPal toward a special event.
Appreciation - Honor our staff and volunteers throughout the year; Spring Luncheon will be held on Friday, May 6th.
Art Exhibit - Organize and display children’s artwork for Open House in May.
Art Notecards - Note cards featuring your student's original artwork are produced each Fall with teacher cooperation to raise funds to enrich visual and performing arts. The note cards are great for thank you cards and also make wonderful gifts for family members. The kids love seeing their artwork turned into cards. All proceeds go to art and music programs at Las Lomitas.
Bilingual Buddies - Help families connect to school community. Initiate contact with assigned family. Answer questions, inform them of/explain school and class events, help fill out forms.
Book Fair - New books for sale in the Fall - volunteers help set up prior to fair, display and sell books, run cash registers or take down after fair.
Boxtops4Education - Come clip and count submitted box tops. It is a fun way to meet new people.

Fun Fridays - Come and play games and have fun during lunch recess the first Friday of every month. A fun way to interact with the kids!
Holiday Workshop - The Holiday Workshop is a hands-on craft faire in which all Las Lomitas students participate to create gifts for family and friends in December. It is run 100% by parent volunteers and considered by most parents to be their favorite day of the year!
Hospitality - Refreshments for various PTA activities and school functions throughout the year.
Hot Lunch Program - Las Lomitas PTA uses a company called Choicelunch to provide hot and cold lunch options 5 days a week.
Kindergarten Round-Up - Held in April, incoming kindergartners tour through the kindergarten classrooms and parents receive an introduction to the school and parent groups.
Memory Book -Help capture your child’s memories at school. Be a page editor or an official school photographer and help put together the school yearbook. Page editing can be done from your home computer. School photographers get prime seating at all school events.
Pancake Breakfast - A fun way to kick off the school year at Las Lomitas, held in September. Enjoy pancakes with your friends and lots of outdoor activities.
Picture Day - Help kids look their best for individual and class photos.
Read-A-Thon - This fundraiser encourages daily reading with the students and supports the many PTA programs and services at Las Lomitas. Students collect sponsorships and keep track of their daily reading for the month of January.
Safe Routes - Coordinate between the administration and families to ensure that the school campus is as walkable, bikeable and safe as possible.
Science Wonders - A K-3rd grade version of a science fair, held in May.
Spirit Wear - Show your school colors! Las Lomitas clothing and accessories.
Third Grade Field Day - A memorable outside, end-of-year event for the entire 3rd grade class in June. Volunteers help with games or serving lunch.
Tuesday Treats - Treats for the stuff will be given on the first Tuesday of each month.
Website & Newsletter - The Lion's Roar is the weekly email newsletter for the Las Lomitas community, published jointly by the PTA and the school.
Some student programs are not run by the PTA, including after-school classes and fundraisers such as the annual auction. Please visit the Las Lomitas League Web site for after-school class information and the Las Lomitas Education Foundation for other fun events.
